There are few things I find as satisfying as holding a copy of my latest book in my hands. And yes, I’m bragging in the post-Christmas flush, sitting in Toronto Pearson airport waiting for another flight…
While it’s not quite released out into the big, wide world, it’s nearly there and the approaching launch in my hometown is filling me with a mixture of excitement and trepidation, probably in equal measures.
I know, there’s a lot to be said about having it somewhere with a fan base (that surprises me) and which feels like it’s been very supportive. I have to say it’s feeling good to have it there.
Anyway, so if you’re in northeast Colorado on the 8th of January, come along to the Sterling Public Library — I’ll be there at 2.00 (my father informed me that ‘from 2.00’ was delightfully British) reading from my new book and signing copies for anyone who wants an advance copy before they appear anywhere else!
